Nottingham is an ancient city whose fame is tied to the fearless figure of Robin Hood and his lively band of companions from Sherwood Forest – the perfect setting for your Study Holiday in England.
This vibrant city in central England is known for the legend of Robin Hood and its rich historical heritage. It offers a mix of tradition and modern life, with castles, museums, theatres, and a lively cultural scene. Nottingham is also a university city with a youthful, welcoming atmosphere – ideal for students seeking an inspiring study experience in a friendly urban environment.
Our school is located at Jubilee Campus, part of the modern and well-equipped University of Nottingham. It is surrounded by green spaces, waterways, and a picturesque lake reflecting the distinctive and unmistakable architecture of the campus library.
The campus also includes a modern indoor and outdoor sports centre for basketball, volleyball, and five-a-side football, tennis courts, open green spaces, and the nearby Wollaton Park, which can easily be reached on foot.

Accommodation consists of single rooms with private bathroom in modern university buildings connected by shared corridors.
Full board is provided in the bright college canteen, with packed lunches during full-day excursions and on graduation days.
Study holiday in Nottingham – course details
To help you improve your English, the programme includes 30 hours of lessons, with 3 hours dedicated to Culture Exchange sessions, either in the morning or afternoon.
Students aged 11–14 will attend the Voyagers course, while those aged 14–17 will follow the Trailblazers course.
There is also the option to enrol in the Trinity GESE Exam, which will be conducted online.
All teachers are qualified to teach English as a foreign language and organise classes based on the results of an initial placement test, designed to assess each student’s level and place them in the most suitable group.
At the end of the course, students will receive a certificate of attendance.

Excursions
Three full-day excursions by private coach:
• One to York for a guided sightseeing tour and entry to York Minster.
• One to Liverpool for a guided walking tour and a visit to either Anfield Football Stadium or the Beatles Story Museum (each group must choose one option for all participants).
• One to Cambridge for a professional guided sightseeing tour.
Two half-day excursions in Nottingham: one guided city tour and one afternoon of free time.
Excursions may be subject to slight changes before departure. The final programme will be provided to group leaders upon arrival.
Activities
The college features a modern indoor and outdoor sports centre for basketball, volleyball, and five-a-side football, plus tennis courts, large open fields, and nearby Wollaton Park within walking distance.
Evenings are filled with organised events such as disco nights, karaoke, casino night, cabaret, and much more.
