Eastbourne – a seaside town on the southern coast of England, perfect for your Study Holiday!
Eastbourne is a lively coastal city on the south coast of England, overlooking the English Channel. Known for its elegant seafront, pebble beaches, and Victorian pier, it offers a welcoming and safe environment. With its mild climate and the beautiful South Downs National Park nearby, Eastbourne is the perfect destination to study and relax by the sea.
Our school, Eastbourne College, is a prestigious boarding school in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach and the city centre.

Accommodation is provided on campus, in single, double, or shared rooms with communal bathrooms.
Rooms are located in different buildings around the college, and allocations are made by the university according to group size and composition.
On request, you can stay with a host family, sharing the experience with an Italian or international student. Public transport passes are included.
Full board is provided at the college canteen, with packed lunches on full-day excursions.
For students staying with host families, breakfast and dinner are eaten at home.
To help you improve your English, 30 hours of lessons are included, with 3 hours dedicated to Culture Exchange sessions held either in the morning or afternoon.
Students aged 11 to 14 attend the Voyagers Course, while those aged 14 to 17 follow the Trailblazers Course.
It’s also possible to register for the Trinity GESE Exam, held online.
All teachers are qualified to teach English to international students. Classes are organised according to each student’s placement test to ensure a suitable level for everyone.
All study materials are provided by the school, and every participant receives a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.
Excursions
3 full-day trips:
Two to London – one for a Guided Sightseeing Tour and another to visit a museum.
One to Brighton – for a Guided Sightseeing Tour and entrance to the Royal Pavilion.
2 half-day excursions in Eastbourne:
One Guided Tour.
One afternoon of free time.
Minor changes may occur before departure.
The final programme will be given to Group Leaders upon arrival.
Activities
The school staff organises a wide range of leisure and cultural activities including sports tournaments, team games, fitness sessions, arts & crafts, and music workshops.
Students can make the most of the college’s excellent facilities: green spaces, tennis and cricket courts, a multifunctional theatre, and a brand-new sports centre complete with gym and swimming pool.
Every evening, the English Activity Leaders run social events to help you make friends with students from Italy and around the world.
You’ll enjoy disco nights, murder mystery games, casino evenings, and even a sunset walk to Beachy Head, the stunning cliff overlooking the sea.
