Limerick, the third-largest city in Ireland, is set in the south of the country. With roots going back to pre-Viking times, the city spans the River Shannon, with its historic centre on King’s Island. The city is known for its bustling cultural scene and impressive medieval castle, which is one of the best-preserved castles in Ireland.
Limerick has been shaped by the Viking and Norman invasions, a thriving Georgian era, and its important role in Ireland’s fight for independence.
Our school, the University of Limerick (UL), is one of Ireland’s top universities. The campus offers a blend of lush green spaces and eco-friendly architecture.
Accommodation includes single rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi, located in buildings within the campus.
Full board is provided, with packed lunches included during full-day excursions as part of the program.
To learn English, students have 18 hours of lessons per week, including 15 hours of the General Course and 3 hours of 21st Century Skills Workshops.
News 2026: The school is launching the development of an exciting new English curriculum for next summer!
A new 21st-century English curriculum that uses AI-based teaching tools to give teachers the ability to respond dynamically to their students’ linguistic needs.
All teachers are certified to teach English to foreign students and organize homogeneous classes based on the results of the initial test taken by all students to determine their language level.
Study materials are provided by the school, as well as a certificate of attendance, which is issued at the end of the course.
3 full-day excursions with a private bus and school staff, for example: one to Dublin to visit the EPIC Immigration Museum (return to campus after dinner out); one to the Cliffs of Moher, impressive cliffs 214 meters high overlooking the sea, and to the lively university town of Galway, known for its charming alleys and pubs full of music; and one to Killarney National Park, one of the most beautiful and famous natural parks in Ireland, including Torc Waterfall, a waterfall about 20 meters high, set in a lush forest at the foot of Torc Mountain.
2 half-day city outings with a private bus and school staff (entrance fees included).
2 half-day city outings using public transport with school staff (entrance fees not included).
4 half-day on-campus activities, such as sports, The ABC’s of Vlogging, STEAM, and Drama Workshop.
Excursions may be subject to slight changes before departure.
The final program will be provided to group leaders upon arrival on site.
