Often called the gateway to the USA, NYC is a magnet for tourists and international students alike, offering a magical mix of culture, history, and entertainment.

From the moment your plane hits the runway, you’ll be mesmerised by New York’s iconic skyscrapers and the shimmering Hudson River. New York never sleeps – whether it’s Broadway’s dazzling lights, world-class museums, high-end shopping, or landmarks such as Central Park, Fifth Avenue, Soho, Ground Zero, the High Line, or the Empire State Building.

Our host school, Long Island University (LIE), has been educating students since 1926. Located in the heart of Brooklyn, it’s a stone’s throw from the Barclays Centre and Fort Greene, a distinct recognised on the New York and National Registers of Historic Places.
